From field surveys to full-stack builds
I started out studying Geology at Christ College — reading rock, sediment, and structure to understand how the ground beneath us was built up over time. Somewhere along the way I got just as curious about how software is built up: layer by layer, each one depending on the integrity of the one below it.
That's the lens I bring to development now. I work across the stack with Django, React, Python, and MySQL, building secure, scalable web applications with interfaces that are as considered as the systems underneath them. I care about code that holds up under pressure — the same way a good foundation should.
Outside of client-facing dashboards, I've built exam platforms, event systems, and government service tools — each one a different terrain, same core method: survey the requirements, lay the foundation, build upward.
